Industry expert releases leather guide for beginners

In association with the UK Society of Leather Technologists and Chemists (SLTC), leather industry expert Richard Daniels has released another leather guide, this time aimed at the beginner who wants to know more about how to make leather.
The newest guide, Leather: An Introduction, is written for general interest and aimed at people who are new to the leather industry and need a better understanding of the material, describing the versatility of leather, its natural origins, manufacturing processes and comprehensive properties.
The document follows Daniels’ last publication, which was a 30,000 word 10-part guide designed to give aspiring leather technicians a self-training resource for leather production.
